UNLV will host the 2004 Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship May 26-29 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium at Roger Barnson Field in Las Vegas. This will mark the second time in conference history that the event will be held at Wilson Stadium. The stadium, which opened in 1994, is located on the west side of the UNLV campus and has a seating capacity of 3,000.
The winner of the Mountain West Conference Tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

*3. The No. 1 seed will play the lowest seed to advance from the first round of tournament games in the 3 p.m. game on Thursday.
4. If the host team is a No. 3, 4, 5, or 6 seed, it will play in the 3 p.m. game in the first round of tournament games.
